But why? What for? Just because you're afraid of dying?

You want the rest of the world to live forever as as well?

The issue of emortality inevitably leads into a consideration of transhumanism. In response to one of transhumanism's best known visionary documents, Letter from Utopia, I felt compelled to compose an alternative epistle with the same title, that, to me at least, captures a far more realistic—and, if you will, 'human'—kind of 'Utopia' than the one usually envisaged by the transhumanist community.
